Manager, Corporate Communications

The Manager, Corporate Communications will help to build and strengthen the Hologic reputation by developing and executing communications and public relations activities that support Hologic’s business objectives. These efforts will continue to demonstrate Hologic’s leadership in women’s health and help accelerate global growth. 

Under the direction of the Director, Corporate Communications, the Manager, Corporate Communications will help develop messaging and communications activities across traditional and social media, digital channels and other platforms to engage patients, customers, advocacy partners, policy makers, community organizations and industry thought leaders.  

The Manager, Corporate Communications will work to create content that clearly enhances and elevates Hologic’s brand awareness as a leader in women’s health. 

What To Expect: 

• Develops and manages a wide variety of communications content including press releases, media statements, social and digital media posts, as well as key messaging documents and FAQs. 
• Responsible for developing and implementing high impact external communication materials that raise the visibility of Hologic’s core areas of focus through various media, and lead to clear business outcomes, in alignment with company’s purpose, passion, and promise. 
• Helps develop media materials and communications plans for industry and consumer events, major company milestones, company announcements, product launches, business development activities and consumer awareness campaigns. 
• Supports media relations activity, including managing media inquiries and developing media briefings to support Hologic senior leadership. 
• Serves as media relations contact and spokesperson when appropriate.
• Working with business and product marketing teams and outside agencies, supports marketing programming and campaigns with earned media and the development of social media content.
• Leverages content and campaigns across all external and internal communications platforms including company intranet, employee newsletters, company website and social media. 
• Working with agency partners, manages media monitoring and reporting across the business divisions and corporate.

What We Expect: 

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Advertising/Public Relations, or related field required. 
• 5+ years of proven communications experience in corporate, product or executive communications. 
• Previous healthcare communications and agency experience preferred.
• Excellent writing, editing, communication and presentation skills are required along with a demonstrated ability to create high impact strategic external communications.
• Well-versed in multi-media communications platforms.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines, working at all levels and across geographies. 
• Ability to juggle multiple projects without sacrificing the quality of deliverables.
• Collaborative partner with keen ability to effectively listen, distill information, think creatively and deliver communications that drive results.

The annualized base salary range for this role is $103,900 to $162,400 and is bonus eligible.  Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs and market demand.
