Senior Supply Chain Analyst

We are hiring a Senior Supply Chain Analyst in our Diagnostics division in San Diego, CA!

Under our Manufacturing Operations function, you will be supporting Supply Chain Teams (Planning, Procurement, Warehousing, and Distribution) via data analysis and reporting, process improvement, and project management. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The incumbent may be asked to perform other function-related activities in addition to the below mentioned responsibilities as reasonably required by business needs. 

  • Identify and lead complex cross-functional process improvements that support company objectives for quality, cost, responsiveness, and growth
  • Proactively work with the Supply Chain Management Team to identify, lead, and resolve issues in support of department and company goals
  • Serve as Supply Chain Subject Matter Expert on software implementation teams including Kinaxis RapidResponse for supply planning and Microsoft PowerBI for data analytics 
  • Analyze ERP system outputs for conformance to desired planning/procurement objectives.  Use knowledge and judgment to create and implement configuration or process changes that improve the accuracy of the ERP output
  • Develop and maintain relationships with various levels of Operations leadership to support Supply Chain objectives  
  • Mentor junior analysts on Supply Chain and data analytics best practices 
  • Lead change management initiatives through creation and improvement of procedures aimed at improving business processes
  • Ideate, design, build, and maintain automated reports and dashboards
  • Independently perform root cause analysis on supply chain planning and procurement issues by analyzing data from a variety of sources and using judgement to implement solutions within company policy

Qualifications 

  • Experience with Oracle Process Manufacturing and/or Kinaxis RapidResponse is highly preferred
  • Familiarity with ERP system function and configuration
  • Experience with PowerBI or other business analytics applications
  • Knowledge of Continuous Improvement principles (Lean, SixSigma, Etc.)
  • Able to work as part of a team, cross-functionally, while also being able to take initiative individually.
  • Strong analytical, business process analysis and problem-solving capabilities; Ability to analyze data to identify and compare norms, trends and patterns.
  • Strong communication and project management skills; Ability to present issues of concern and recommend solutions
  • Ability to build cross-functional relationships
  • High motivation and self-directed work ethic

Required Education and Experience           

  • BA/BS Degree with with a Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Engineering, or Data Analysis focus
  • 6+ years of experience in Supply Chain or similar function
  • Related experience in diagnostics manufacturing industry, with strong skills in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems & data analytics

The total compensation range for this role is $96,700 - $151,200 and is bonus eligible. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, territory/ geography, education, business needs, market demand and performance.
