ServiceNow CMDB Developer

We are seeking skilled and experienced ServiceNow Developers with experience Configuration Management Database (CMDB) to join our dynamic collaboration team! The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing and implementing ServiceNow CMDB solutions and possess a comprehensive understanding of other ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, and ITBM. The candidate will work closely with IT and other business units to streamline and automate processes, ensuring the highest level of service delivery and user satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect and implement ITAM solutions using industry best practices. 
  • Independently develop and manage Service Asset & Configuration Management. 
  • Design and implement ServiceNow CMDB solutions that maintain data integrity and support ITSM processes. 
  • Manage integrations for assets, vulnerability management, and discovery with other systems. 
  • Implement CMDB with a focus on CSDM, HAM, and SAM, along with creating new Service Catalog Items in ServiceNow (with workflows). 
  • Optimize procedures for updating CI data, including the use of automated processes and discovery tools. 
  • Maintain current ServiceNow Discovery configuration and administer changes to schedules as needed. 
  • Use JavaScript as necessary to author business rules, control form behavior, and create/modify existing workflow activities. 
  • Implement ServiceNow Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and Orchestration use cases. 
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and user guides. 
  • Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and debugging to ensure optimal performance. 
  • Provide technical support and training to end-users and stakeholders. 
  • Stay current with ServiceNow updates, best practices, and industry trends. 
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple task 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer, with at least 1-2 years focusing on CMDB
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes 
  • In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow platform and its core modules (CSM, ITSM, ITAM, ITOM).
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other web technologies.
  • Experience with ServiceNow integration (REST, SOAP, APIs) and data migration.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Good to Have:

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and Certified Implementation Specialist 

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices.
  • Familiarity with other HR systems and tools (e.g., HCM, SAP SuccessFactors).

The annualized base salary range for this role is $93,000 to $145,500 and is bonus eligible. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs, and market demand.
