As our Senior Manager Manufacturing Operations, you will have the opportunity to be a pivotal force in redefining what excellence means in manufacturing. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Building strong relationships across Supply Chain, Manufacturing Operations, Engineering/Metrology, Procurement, Process Transfer, Quality, and Lean/CI to drive integration and success.

Strategic Leadership: Joining the site’s senior leadership team to focus not only on working IN the business but also ON the business, driving cultural and operational transformation to achieve world-class status.

Change Leadership: Leading change initiatives across your operational area, ensuring Manchester emerges as best in class.

What We Expect

  • Manufacturing Operations Expertise: Extensive experience managing diverse manufacturing processes and product types, ensuring operational excellence and adherence to the highest regulatory standards (ISO13485, GMP, GDP, etc.).
  • End-to-End Supply Chain Knowledge: Deep understanding of critical areas such as product/process development, engineering/metrology, planning/logistics, CI, HSE, and quality assurance, with a proven ability to influence for maximum impact.
  • Lean Expertise & Problem Solving: Hands-on expertise deploying Lean tools and systems, driving world-class transformation, and fostering a structured problem-solving culture (4C, A3, DMAIC, etc.) that eliminates reactive approaches.
  • Budgetary & Planning Expertise: Skilled in managing operational budgets, headcount, and capital expenditure, with knowledge of Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes to enhance agility, productivity, and capacity decision-making.
  • Talent Development & Cultural Change: Proven ability to nurture talent, build team capabilities, and drive cultural transformation to create highly engaged, high-performing teams.
  • Critical Thinking & Creativity: An innovative problem solver who combines objective analysis with creative thinking to deliver impactful solutions to complex challenges.
