Key Responsibilities:

  • Innovate and Create: Lead the design, development, and testing of groundbreaking next-generation products while ensuring the sustainability of our current portfolio.
  • Mentor and Inspire: Provide visionary mentorship to promote growth, learning, and knowledge transfer within your team.
  • Solve Complex Problems: Conduct thorough root cause analyses and develop innovative solutions for design challenges.
  • Drive Excellence: Set and surpass team goals, priorities, and budgets, ensuring compliance with top-tier quality and performance standards.
  • Strategize and Execute: Translate high-level goals into actionable team objectives, fostering a culture of engineering excellence and relentless improvement.
  • Oversee Projects: Manage project plans meticulously, guaranteeing timely delivery and adherence to the highest quality standards.
  • Collaborate Across Functions: Engage in dynamic cross-functional collaboration to develop and refine interdepartmental processes.
  • Standardize and Optimize: Implement and refine engineering policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure optimal project execution.
  • Document and Communicate: Oversee the creation, review, and enhancement of technical documentation, ensuring clarity and precision.
  • Resolve Technical Challenges: Identify, prioritize, and resolve technical issues with innovative corrective actions to minimize defects.
  • Lead and Develop: Recruit, lead, and cultivate a high-performing team, managing performance and fostering professional growth.
  • Build Relationships: Establish and nurture collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders and external experts to meet and exceed organizational needs.

 

Qualifications:

  • Education: BA/BS Technical Degree required
  • Experience: 8+ years, 5+ years with a Master’s Degree, or 3+ years with a PhD.

Skills:

  • Mastery of electrical engineering principles and medical device development standards.
  • Proficiency in CAE/CAD systems (SolidWorks, LabView, Agile).
  • Exceptional project management, communication, and leadership abilities.
  • Experience in matrixed organizations and Agile methodologies is a plus.
  • Specific expertise in x-ray generation, imaging, and mammography is a significant advantage.

 

Travel Requirement: Up to 10%

The annualized base salary range for this role is $119,700 - $199,400 and is bonus eligible. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs and market demand.
